We are proud to announce that QUAREP-LiMi WG7-Metadata has launched the LiMi-model Website, the new home for the Light Microscopy Model — a community-built, FAIR-compliant framework for describing microscopy hardware, acquisition settings, and quality-control metrics. The site covers the model's purpose and deliverables, and shows how to get involved, whether by exploring the model, testing it with the Micro-Meta App, or contributing as a developer.
Alongside the website, we're pleased to release the first version of the LiMi-Model Viewer. The Viewer lets you browse the model's structure interactively: fields and subfields are color-coded using the REMBI palette, elements the LiMi-Model adds to OME are clearly marked, branch ends are identified, and a search function offers a quick alternative to browsing the full model.
