The LiMi Model empowers funders and journals to drive scientific progress!

Funding agencies and journal publishers are key players, working alongside researchers to ensure scientific rigor and transparency in compliance with FAIR data practices.

The LiMi Model empowers member organizations in the scientific funding and publishing landscape to interact with the scientific community through standardized language and metadata standards for recording and publishing groundbreaking research.

This leads not only to imaging data reproducibility and reuse, but also accelerates scientific progress, today and tomorrow, for years to come, so you can fund and publish even more high-quality research!

Bioimaging data provides unique insights into living and non-living matter with high spatial and temporal resolution, but the complexity of these experiments can present challenges. Metadata annotation is therefore essential for detailing the methods used in a bioimaging experiment and the way data was generated. This helps ensure your data is reusable and trustworthy. Help make your data findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR). Founders and journal can provide the right incentives to promote image data annotation with rich, descriptive metadata that comply with community standards, and share it in open file formats through public repositories –benefiting both your future self and the scientific community.
